In the 70’s and 80’s, I owned my own massage school, created and taught Work Your Buns off aerobics classes, and led Connections personal growth groups for women.
At age 40, I got poisoned by the off-gassing molecules of oil-based paint and was extremely ill resulting in thyroid and auto-immune issues.
I healed myself by doing extensive research and learned to use food as medicine. For over 20 I have taught thousands of people worldwide (in live workshops, through my published books, and online coaching courses) the value of incorporating raw and nutrient-dense foods. My first book, Rawsome Recipes was published by Young Living Essential Oils.
In 2012, my husband Geoff and I moved to the UK (and lived in Scotland & The Lake District for 4 years) where together we taught and wrote our book PURE 5:2 Transformation In 21 Days…The Complete Guide To Healthy Intermittent Fasting.
My passion is to teach and empower women (especially post-menopausal) to learn to use PURE food along with intermittent fasting to lose slow to go, stuck and unwanted weight boost immune health and relieve pain from inflammation while gaining food freedom, leaving behind eating to soothe and achieve vibrantly healthy success!
